Personality Tests

If you search on personality tests in any search engine you will find thousands of tests available. But if you question the creditability of these tests you will end up with about 10 tests.

I tried a well-known test of DISC called Tomas test. The test consist of 25 questions, in each question you will be asked to determine what most like you and what least like you will not do.

Upon the result you will have a scores for four different perspectives of your personality. The four perspectives are; DOMINANCE, INFLUENCE, SITABILITY, COMPLIANCE.

For me the result is:

  • Enjoy competition and challenge.

  • Goal orientated and want to be recognized for their efforts.

  • Aim high, want authority and are generally resourceful and adaptable.

  • Self-sufficient and individualistic.

  • May lose interest in projects once the challenge has gone and they tend to be impatient and dissatisfied with minor detail.

  • Strongly interested in meeting and being with people. Optimistic, outgoing, and socially skilled.

  • Quick at establishing relationships.

  • Sometimes your concern for people and people’s feelings may make you reluctant to disturb a favorable situation or relationship.

  • Tend to enjoy change and variety in their work and non-work life. Expansive by nature and tend not to like routine and repetitive work/activities.

  • Enjoy stretching yourselves intellectually and physically.

  • Independent and uninhibited. Resent rules and restrictions. Prefer to be measured by results and are always willing to try the untried.

  • Free in thought, word and deed, you long for freedom and go to great lengths to achieve it.

  • You feel that repetitive detail and routine work is best 'delegated'.

  • You are usually direct and positive with people, enjoying being the centre of attraction and may take it for granted that people will think highly of you.

  • You may have a tendency to be rather critical of others. Consequently, other people may tend to see them as being rather domineering and overpowering
